just bought a '99 Winnebago Ulti Freedom.  it is white, no decals - I'm thinking about having decals added.. 

- Can I buy decals somewhere and do it myself?  recommendations on purchasing and if DYI is worth while, or better to hire an expert.

Find a mobile sign shop.  They will be able to make practically anything your heart desires.
 
I purchased new 'BRAVE' decals for my '03 from Lichtsinnmotors.com
 
I agree with donn, find your local sign shop. I use to work in one and we could make or reproduce anything. If they do not have it on hand in a book or in the computer take a picture and let them down load it.
