I recently bought a 1999 Winnebago Adventurer.  I have noticed that the slide creeps out slightly when it sits.  I tried to expand the slide and it will not do anything.  I took it to my small local dealer and he couldn't find the motor nor the fuse box that goes to the slide.  Of course I have every book but the one for the slideout.  My dealer automatically thought it was the motor.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The HWH hydraulic slides (which I believe your coach has) have an extend solenoid and a retract solenoid. You report is typical of a leaking retract solenoid. It is easily replaced by any reasonably competent Winnebago technician.

I recommend a call to Winnebago Owner Relations at (800) 537-1885. Have your coach s/n ready. They can tell you what you have, and can likely "educate" the apparently incompetent dealer.

I know its a little late but thanks for the replies! I forgot I posted on here.  Now, the slide out will not go out at all!  Sigh.....
