I just saw an ad for Peel-n-Patch from Ducky Products in a boating magazine. The manufacturer claims it will stick to any surface except polypropylene and can be used on water and sanitation tanks and even exhaust systems. It has a claimed temperature range of -30F to +500 F and a maximum (pressure) rating of 500 PSI.

I've not used this product, but thought I'd pass it along because we occasionally get questions about how to fix cracks in tanks. Might be something to keep in the toolbox.
