The best time to START gate guarding is the spring or summer. During the fall is when the majority of the Winter Texans start to migrate south. So while everyone was desperate for gate guards in July and August, the gates are scarce from October to March. If you decide to come down be careful how far you come. Some RV parks in the Eagleford are charging as much as 250 dollars A WEEK! Ask before you come down. The URL in my profile is a site that answers questions about Gate Guarding.
