Anyone out there purchased or even physically seen the new 2013 Leisure Travel Free Spirit SS (Super Slide)? The ability to stay small yet have a separate shower/toilet is interesting to me. I'm thinking of considering this setup rather than size up to a Class C in order to avoid the integrated toilet/shower type marine bath in the other Class B's I've seen.
Also, is anyone aware of any other Class B unit with separate facilities that I should consider (without going the Class C route)?

Here is a link I posted on this in August this year. There are some comments in this thread already.

You might also look at the other Leisure Travel Van models. The have what some folks call the B+ models. I like the Unity model the most.

Thanks Karsty,

I did see that thread.  I was hoping to hear from someone that bought one.  They seem nice but pricey.  I suppose it's so new there aren't a lot of owners out there to comment on their level of satisfaction yet.

When I posted the original post they unit was not even on the market. They were taking pre-orders however. I haven't heard of anyone that has one yet. I know that if they were available before I bought my ERA I would have seriously considered this or the Unity corner bed model.

Well here's a 14 minute commercial for it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BoWGU36Ghvs

I don't think I could full time in it, but it would be great for trips.  That is if I was doing more driving than staying.  And the fuel mileage they claim is more than my full size pu gets!

It would be used for trips rather than full-timing so that would be OK with me.  The only downside seems to be a less than comfortable looking sofa/bed.  Was hoping someone that physically saw one had an opinion, one way or the other.  :-\

I'd love to have one for some trips.  But if I have to spend any time there I need the room of the one I have.  In a perfect world I'd have a lot more toys.  But then when you read the full time threads, a big part of it is getting rid of a lot of your toys.
