I'm about to jump into the 5'er family, and I am still not fully decided on a hitch.  Is it worth the extra hundred for me to upgrade to a four way pivot hitch instead of the 2 way?  (im looking at the Reese Signature series 16k & 18k)

Thanks
Pete

Hi Blacksheep, for my money it is definitely worth the difference in price to go with the 4 way pivot. I have pulled fith wheel trailers for at least a half million miles and I wouldn't use anything else. You have easier maneuvering on uneven ground when you have the unrestricted movement of the the 4 way and you don't have the side wind sway with a 4 way that you do with a 2 way. Just my $.02; hope this helps.

Thanks, I appreciate it!
I'll bite the extra Ben Franklin and get the upgrade
