Where do you get a portable propane heater? Was 46 in my trailer this morn!

I should have gotten one when Wally was selling.

Don't remember where we got ours but we love it, too. Doesn't suck up battery juice and keeps the RV warm when we need it warm.

Saw a businee in a canopy tent just outside of the main big tent with good looking quartz heaters ,, $29.99 for smaller one , $59.99 for larger one that also rotates 45 degrees while operating.. wish I hadn't bought a little Buddy before coming here..

We set the MH on 60 and we do fine even on cold nights on our way south.  We have stayed in  Pocatello with temps below zero and still had more than 50% battery left.  3 days later in QZ we had to get propane before going out to the rally though.  Left home with full tank and were below 1/4 when we filled up.

We arrived today in our caravan of  3.  Mahoney, Dick and Brewer.  Great Happy hour.  So much fun to see  old friends (opps I mean long time friends!)

I did volunteer again to be the TAX Collector to make opportunities for  RVForum folks to donate to keep the  Forum  up and running.  I emphasized that  there is a DONATE  button  on home page of RVForum to make easy  donations or I had the envelope for passing around the circle.

Chris thought it was a donut button and has been pushing the button hoping for a donut and  got none.   Now he knows. I did get a generous donation of cash in the Tax collector  envelope tonight.  So if you are reading this section and wishing you were here, just push DONATE   and  see if you get a donut!  We love our RV Forum friends and advice!

Well, I made it here to my reserved spot at Rose RV Park at 600 E Kuehn.  Is there a happy hour every day?  I love to come and meet some of you folks.  How would I go about finding you?

Was warmer last night I think. Set the furnace on 55 then at 72 at 5 so it was great when I got up at 6. Batteries reading 12.2 now at 7 with tv on. Life is good!

Thank you everybody for help.

Hey everyone,
I decided this morning (probably well before most of you woke up- haha) to head back down the Imperial Dam LTVA so I could visit with my niece and see her new baby for the first time. I had to go dump my tanks today anyway, so I figured might as well make a trip out of the ordeal.

It was great meeting everyone! I might head back up and check out the pot luck on Saturday.

Dave, I'm electing you to mow my lawn if it ever grows. Don't let Henry smoke the clippings. It won't work.

No need to leave the site vacant if anyone wants it. The property includes a lawn, a hummingbird feeder stand and a nice smooth spot for a patio rug- it won't last long!

Have a good one,

Bill

Sorry you left, Bill. I was looking forward to a demo of the solar cooker. Gordon says thanks for the grass :)

Please do come Saturday for the potluck.

No.

If it is really cold out, we set the thermostat on the built-in heater to a low setting.  That way, some warm air will be routed to the underbelly to keep the water lines and holding tanks from freezing.
