After serious looking, we have zeroed in on the 2013 Redwood 36RL. We like the floor plan and features it has BUT have requested a few add on's (trail air hitch, switch out bathroom fan to a fan-tastic fan, and replace tires with G rated). The unit is gen. prepped and has full body paint also. The only feature it lacks is disc brakes...is this a deal breaker???? My husband will use this full time for living while working on the road (works in the power industry) ANY INFORMATION, suggestions, or guidance would be much appreciated.

Sounds like you are ordering new. Whether disc brakes are possible would depend on who supplies the frame/wheels for this manufacturer. Dexter (one of the popular wheels/axles suppliers) has disc brakes available and they would be a good option if available to you, especially if you expect to tow a lot going from job to job.

This is a pretty big unit at 36 feet or so with a GVWR of 16000 lbs. What are you proposing to pull it with??? (Don't believe any dry weight figures but use the GVWR number to be safe and comfortable...)

Deal breaker?? Only you can decide that!!!
