Have been doing Mexico for about 10 years and in spite of scare tactics in a lot of U.S. press, it's still a great place for RV'ers although fewer from U.S. coming down now.  There is some speculation that U.S. does not want their dollars going south, esp retirement dollars and tourist money.  Many more Canadians.  Mike and Terri Church's book Camping in Mexico is indispensable and two parks that we would recommend in Central Highlands are San Ramon just outside of San Miguel and Bougamville Park just outside of Guanajato. Owners and hosts are gracious, helpful, friendly, speak English and accommodations are very good.  No trees in the one near Guanajato but plenty of parking, for big rigs too, and new sewer hookups there.  Electricity can fluctuate but that's how it is.  We're headed back to the west coast north of PV for the rest of March.  Anyone who's interested, feel free to contact us.
