Looking for the vin # location on my 1990 Fleetwood Bounder with a Chevy P30 chasis.  Manual says "The V.I.N. is found on the DOT certification tag attached to the left sidewall of the motor home driver compartment."  I have been looking for it and cannot locate.  Also looked on dash along the window.  Dont see anything there.

Can anyone help this newcomer.  Thanks!

Not along the bottom edge of windshield frame, on the driver side? I realize they hadn't standardized it yet in 1990, but many of them were there anyway. My Fleetwood also has it on a sticker on the outside by the driver area, but that is a much later year.

It should also be stamped on the frame itself and somewhere on the engine.

I know that our MH has its VIN etched into one of the main structural beams in the basement storage area.  I'm pretty sure this is a common practice for heavy trucks and other vehicles that are essentially just chassis when they are first built.  You might want to check this out.

i had a friend who called dmv to find where one was located. they were able to tell him on a  1926 ford 2 ton truck
