Hello everyone,
I have a 1989 Winnebago Chieftain that has the Ramco 1102 heated, powered mirrors. My passenger side mirror will only move horizontally, not up and down. I can hear the motors run while operating the remote button, but the mirror doesn't move. It feels like the mechanism that tilts the mirror may have popped off. The mirror can be manually moved up and down by physically pressing on the glass mirror. I can hear a clicking or ratcheting sound while doing this. My question is this. How do I remove the mirror from the housing so I can inspect the mechanism? I can see what looks like a rubber boot, but no locking mechanism on the mirror itself. I tried to pry the mirror very gently, but it will not come out. Any ideas would be appreciated!!!!
Thanks!!!!
Greg
