Federal sticker and emission on spartan chassis?
« on: April 19, 2013, 08:48:40 PM »
Bought a 2006 fleetwood revolution and CA DMV wants to see 1) fed safety compliance sticker 2) certificate of emission compliance, etc. Anybody have any idea where these might be?

Seems odd they would ask to see those on a production vehicle, which is type-certified rather than individual. Has it been customized heavily or had an engine swap?

Spartan could probably supply a copy of the federal emissions certificate for that chassis. The safety certificate probably came from Fleetwood, since it includes the body as well as the chassis.

Coach is essentially stock. Fed safety sticker is by door. Emission should be on frame or valve cover but so far haven't found it. One more fed sticker to find.  Just more CA bs.
