12 Years of Traveling with Our Present RV !!
« on: May 01, 2013, 12:56:59 PM »
Well our 2000 custom conversion van is starting its 13th year.  We now have 136k miles on it and going strong.  Here is a 10 minute slide show of many of the places we have visited with this van.  Time to be hitting the road again.

You edited your original post making my post no fun at all.\
As a full-timer since 1997 and having traveled more than 200,000 miles since '99 I thought....well, never mind.
Congratulations on this milestone.

Very nice slide show!  Really shows the cool places you can get to with a smaller RV! Excellent stuff.  The inside of your rig looks very organized.

Congrats... You get a  "TEN"  for absolute quality.

Where do find the time to put all this together ? I know, you are retired and enjoying life.

Thanks,

With a little (very little) practice it is easy to make a "film" out of trip photos.  I have found putting the pictures into this format helps to bring back the memories of a past trip easier.

Just watched the Custom Build video - what a fantastic custom!  I would love to do something like that with one of the diesel Quigley 4x4 type setups, you could really go absolutely anywhere.  There was an entire Quigley drivetrain on Craigslist the other day for under $1k but it went fast.

Did you do it yourselves?

I liked the therm-a-rest chairs - great thinking instead of bulky traditional seats.  With adjustable back support and mattress conversion to boot ;)

Oh, and I noticed a kitty in one of the pics - did you travel with him?
