For many years I've shown folks the first 3 attached photos of Tenby (Wales) harbor at low tide, attempting to illustrate the high tidal variation in this area (40 feet). Unfortunately, I was never able to capture any of these shots at high tide, so folks didn't believe that those boats sitting on the sand actually float at high tide.
Thanks to my niece, I now have the fourth attached photo of the harbor with the tide partially in. Those boats really do float!
