It has been ten years since our wonderful trip to Alaska. When people start talking about taking an Alaska trip one of the topics that always comes up is the road conditions. Our trip was in a conversion van and I am sure that travels differently then say a Class "A'. We found the roads not to be an issue and the road repair work only a very minor inconvenience. Our trip was clockwise rather than the more common counterclockwise route. We also had no pressures of a schedule since the only two dates that were set were our start date and a self imposed 2 month limit. Therefore we traveled w/o any reservations.
