Purchased a 28-foot travel trailer that I am pulling with my 2005 Ford Explorer.  So far so good!  I need to get some extendable mirrors or other type of mirrors to properly see to the rear.  Does anyone have a lead where I can get a good set of mirrors to serve my purpose?  I do not mind paying a little extra for quality mirrors that will the job and do it well.  Thanks.

If you have a truck accessory shop in your town, they can fix you up.  Here's what we have in EPT

NOW....you're towing a 28' trailer with an Explorer?  What is the gross weight on that trailer?  I'm also curious to know the factory tow rating for the Explorer.  I don't mean to alarm you, but I'm sensing a mismatch here.

Here's why I'm a bit concerned.....

Page 20 is for the 2005 Explorer.  Which engine and gear ratio do you have?  The 4.6 with the 3.73 gears is only rated in the neighborhood of 7000 lbs.  Most trailers that size will gross near that weight.  What do your numbers look like?

Hey Guys, sorry.  2005 Ford Expedition.  Got rid of the Explorer.
