Until now, my wife has been using our Windows 7 computer with Digital Editions 1.? for her library downloads to her Nook. She has been able to borrow and return books with no problems. We now have a Windows 8 computer and had to download the new 2.0 version of Digital Editions. Older versions were not available. Now with Digital Editions 2.0, she cannot RETURN books that she borrowed under the previous version. The error message is: License Server Communications Problem E_BAD_LOAN_ID. The library is NO HELP. I googled this error message and found that there were many people with the same problem, but no solution. If anyone has had success with a Windows 8 computer using Digital Editions 2.0, I would appreciate any advice.
