We ate dinner in Hot Springs National Park yesterday at the Bleu Monkey. We talked about you. A lot.

We will be rolling towards you later this week from Little Rock. Be sure to save some energy!

They are Tiffin people - they all LOVE living in Red Bay!

If they can get it to Little Rock this week, we'll tow them on out...

Mike, the Jeep is ready for the dirt! at 28 mpg, too! Christi won't let me drive it much...  :'(

Bob Tiffin came by this morning with a basket of eggs, and I might need that tow to Utah. Having wet bay ,rails and slide floor replaced and painted. Came here to have a jack replaced and slide adjustment and that's when it all went down hill.
The ruby is doing fine since I  had the lift kit installed. Can't wait to get to Moab. Hopefully the slide floor will be replaced tomorrow evening and Tuesday off to Zion.
Kim, at least I haven't lost my cat yet.

Looks like we will drive for weekend to Laughling for party. Will stay in KOA 25th and 26th. We met some Brazilian friends in Vegas Campsite and go with them to celebrate life. Kim I am not sure how much energy is left in monkey, but I have plenty to get Olga's head spin.

Henry what monkey does in Vegas stay in vegas. But what happens in Moab get public. Specially 2 wheel driving in Jeep.

Hi Bob,

Again thanks for space #6, we rather would have wished that you could have made it to the rally. The FINAL celebration will be when we hand over the keys of the motorhome to the new owners. However till that day comes we still will be around for short trips even if it is on our drive driveway or storage space.

Henry, you mentioned having something painted.  What exactly are you having painted?

I ask because I have been painting a few sections of our Dynasty over the past almost three weeks now and it has not a fun project. :-\  I just shot the last section, the area over the windshield, yesterday and after a good detailing I think the old girl is ready to be seen again without me being embarrassed by the peeling clearcoat.

I've been following your paint thread, and I know from firsthand experience every detail of what you were going through. My first business (first failed business too) was a fiberglass repair and paint shop in Richmond, CA. in 1975. We started in our garage and later moved into a 5,000 sq ft shop with a paint booth. Doing fiberglass repair, restoration, and painting in a controlled environment is a PIA, doing it in our garage was extremely difficult. Good luck to you in your project.

Thanks.  I would have loved to have a garage it would fit in, however, it doesn't fit in my shop and I have had to paint it outdoors so I have been pretty much at the mercy of the weather.  I am glad it is done for the time being, not one of my favorite jobs to do.

Thanks but no thanks.  I HATE painting and even if our coach would would fit, I would not have painted it in my shop.  They are never the same afterwards as there is no way to contain all of the dust and overspray from painting.

Sorry.  I am curious what it is though.  No flames but is Christi wanting the Jeep pink?

Mike, Tiffin has been having trouble with the roof rails made of fiberglass, they have replaced a few thousand with aluminum. There is where the painting comes in. They are doing this free on coaches up to 10 years old. Also had a slide floored and wet bays replaced on their nickel. Can't say enough about Tiffin standing behind their product. I have done some painting outside with the base coat, clear coat products with no problem. If you get trash in the clear coat just sand it out and buff.

That is pretty good of Tiffin to stand behind a 10-year old coach.  Glad they got you taken care of.

Bill we are already in Texas. We are staying a couple of days in Pala Duro State park out of Amarillo. We went through a hail storm yesterday and the hood of my jeep was damaged. Golf ball size hail but the RV made it through with no problem. Wish I would have known earlier would have loved seeing you guys. Safe travels!  Henry

We need to add another name to the list of attendees. My cousin, Karen Sedoris will be joining us on the 13 through the 18th. She's heard so much about Moab that she wanted to come and see for herself.

We roll out of Little Rock at oh-dark-thirty in the morning to try catch Henry and Margaret in Amarillo and pierce the dry line somewhere in Oklahoma. We could wait for it here or catch it on the plains, so hopefully the winds will be manageable, and we will have hedged our bets well. Fingers and safety chains crossed!
