In the near future we will be looking to purchase a vehicle to use as a toad. Will need a minimum of 6 passenger but prefer 7 or 8. Would like to be able to tow with 4 wheels down with only minor modificatins. Will probably be looking for something used but might consider a new vehicle.

Any recomendations or information would be greatly appreciated.

If you have or know of a 6-8 passenger toad for sale, let me know.

My GMC Acadia is rated for 7 passengers cause it has mid-row captains chairs. The middle-bench seat version is 8 passengers. Buick Enclave, Chevy Traverse and Saturn Outlook are sister models and essentially the same. No mods required for 4-down towing, whether 2WD or AWD model.

And no, it's not for sale.

Our Suburban is a parallel to Gary's Acadia, albeit older. We also have captain's chairs in the second row, making it a 7-seater, but there's an 8-seater version. We tow it behind our DP. No mods required for all 4 down towing. One caveat - the Burb weighs approx 8,000 lbs, so be sure you have adequate towing capacity.
