Shot this Lubber Grasshopper in my front yard a few days ago.

The camera is a Sony Nex 6 with Minolta Maxxum 135 2.8 lens.  I've had good luck with that combination.

Actually Tom, you're responsible for my purchase of this camera. 

About three months ago I posted a thread on this forum asking about what DSLR I should get.  To make a long story short, that thread prompted me to buy this camera. 

I've seen some of your shots on dpr and I'm inspired by your photography Tom.

Here's one I shot with the Sony SEL55-210 lens.  It's not a great birding lens and the light was very low but I like the shot anyway.
