So I'm planning a trip to catalina in the near future. I recently bought a 28ft bayliner cabin cruiser with a 2005 fi 5.7 350. I haven't done to much wide open crusing in the ocean. I've got a few yearz of experience with operationg a boat. What would be some key things to take and keep in mind on the trip. I have a vhf 2 way radio and lifevest and a safety raft. Where can I find a route guide to get out there. And should I find someone to comeout with me first to show me the way before I go out with frirnds snd family. Ang and all feedback appreciated. Heres a pic of the boat. Would it be ok?
