Throwing Caution to the Wind
« on: June 30, 2013, 06:46:05 AM »
Hello,,, we are new here but thought we would share our running journal. We left Oregon Nov. 2012 and have finally made it to Tn. We don't tend to travel very fast LOL!! But we are having a great time on the road. We don't really know how long we will stay out but plan to as long as it's fun.

The General Contractor in me made me do the math...approximately 2,300 miles in approximately 210 days equates to an average of 10.96 miles per day...WAY-TO-GO...now that's RVing...IMHO.

LOL!! Well John,, I will admit that we had a catch in our get-a-long that held us in Florida a little longer than expected but taking that into consideration our daily average after just under 19 months on the road is just over 14 miles per day LOL!!. We have really kicked it up a notch  ;D

Thanks for the birthday wishes Michelle.
Your Grand Alaska Adventure truly is AN ADVENTURE!!!!
I'm enjoying the extra comments from the RV Forum Community, especially the plexiglass over the missile silos...who knew?
If you are posting pictures, I'm not seeing them.
Maybe you don't have enough posts under your belt yet for posting photos like on other forums.  I think that was the case on DISBoards or CruiseCritic.
Be careful and have fun.
Later...
Renee
