I have just replaced my 12V Interstate battery with 2-6V Trojan T105's combined in series. The charger in my trailer is not up to the task of fully charging these batteries and I thought my Optima Digital 1200 charger would do the trick, but it seems it just does not have enough start-up amps to fully charge the batteries in a reasonable amount of time. I plan to go solar, but in the mean time and for storage at home, I was hoping to find a smart mult-stage charger with start-up amps in the 23-30 amp range. Looking for any recommendations. As a point of reference, my Optima puts out up to 14.9 volts and approximately 12 to 14 start-up amps. The Optima gets the Trojan T-105's to 14.8V and 75% capacity in 12 hours and sat there until 24 hours when I unplugged it. Thanks.
