Just starting a "speed" run to Phoenix and the dashboard icon to refill the DEF tank comes on.  No issues as DEF is readily available even in the Center of the Universe (Scottsdale).  Then the DEF light goes out and the CEL lights up with a "ding" and REM STARTS 9.

The peanut gallery is eager to press on to several shopping meccas.  While they shop, a quick check of the codes brings up P20E8.

The world wide web says:

Definition of Diagnostic Trouble Code P20E8
Category Powertrain
Definition Reductant Pressure Too Low
Note: This definition of P20E8 is applied to all manufacturers

Nothing pops up on a forum search, but the Sprinter folks have seen this (http://sprinter-source.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20260).  It looks like it goes away after refilling the DEF tank, and after a few restarts.

There is a link to a spiffy bulletin on the DEF system, but the link that works for me is:  http://www.sprinter-rv.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Sprinter_MY2010_Emissions.pdf.

Further down the search list shows that Ford people have the same opportunity, and seemed to fix it by clearing the code (http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1090759-p20e8-dtc-code-fixed.html).

After refilling the DEF tank and a few starts & stops, CEL is still on at the end of the adventure.

This morning I reset the code via my Android Torque app (what are toys for?).  CEL is off, and the P20E8 code is shown as code history.

Of course this could be a real problem . . . .
