Wondering if anyone is going to be in the SW Colorado area in August.  We will be staying at the Ouray KOA for a week and will be hitting some of the local Jeep trails.

Mike.

You may want to visit the Wiesbaden vapor cave and hot springs.  It's a natural cave that's fed year around by a natural hot springs that keeps the water at a consistent 109F.  I'll also add that while I just did the hot springs and vapor cave, my wife said this was the best massage she's ever had anywhere!

Do the loop, Ouray to Silverton to Lake City and back to Ouray, off road......also known as the Alpine Loop.  Then stop at the art store in Lake City and pick up one of these license plates for your 4x4....

Yep, that is on the list.  We did part of it last year but we would rather have another Jeep or two (or more) to do this trail.

Last year we did Immogene Pass and Ophur Pass along with Mineral Creek and part of Poughkeepsie Gulch.  Can't wait to get there this year.

Wow mike! Wish I could make it but we will still be in Canada somewhere.Be safe and will see you guys in Moab.

You could make it if you put the hammer down on that rig. 8)

However, if I were you I would just take it slow and spend as much time in Alaska as possible.  Looks like you and Margaret are having a fantastic time.

We look forward to seeing you guys again in Moab next spring.

Mike.
