hi.
i am trying to help an older friend track down a copy of the manual for a 1978 Holiday Rambler Presidential 3000.
it was destroyed in a hail storm years ago.
if anyone has one, but can't let it go, we are specifically needing the specs for the furnace. she feel the last one she was sold was too big for the trailer. a new one needs to be purchased, but we can't reference the manual to see what the best size is.
thank you,
martha

I doubt if the original manual even had that information. A sales brochure is a more likely source, believe it or not!

What led your friend to believe the furnace was "too big"? Furnaces have btu ratings for the heat delivered and typically are in the 20,000-40,000 btu range with 25,000-30,000 being the common sizes. The major constraint is air flow through the ducts (in and out) and even then the only drawback of a too-large btu rating is that the ECO switch will occasionally interrupt the heat cycle til the air circulation catches up to the heat output.
