Officially is tomorrow but in reality has been growing all month long.  Expect 2 million plus people!!  Today is Friday and we rode our bikes over to Woodward to see the "show".

Speaking as a retired GM engineer, old school hot rodder and sometimes street racer (when I was young and stupid) I wish I could be there.  I spent 18 of my 30 years at the engineering center in Warren.

Of my 28 years w GM I spent 22 at Cadillac on Clark St. and the last 6 at the Tech. Ctr.

Michigan
Woodward Avenue in 1909 was the location of the first mile (1.6 km) of concrete roadway in the country.  It is in SE Michigan and passes through several communities.
