I have a 2004 38 foot elite special edition fifth wheel. I've had it for a year now and the slide doesn't like to come in. I put a new battery in? and that didn't work. The trailer lives in Mexico so I can't take it to a shop without bring it home. The last time I was down the twelve foot slide wouldn't come in at all. I? took the five pin rocker switch off the wall to make sure it was connected. When I hit the switch this time the switch caught fire. I'm glad it wasn't still in the wall. Can you buy a bigger motor for the slide? Any suggestions? I'm getting tired of finding people to help push it back in.
