Hey there, so I recently acquired this cute little Scamp 13' model from my Dad and had it pulled from Michigan to California so I could rebuild and make use of it. This thread will document my progress!
I didn't take any TRUE "before" photos beside the two that I posted in my Introductory Post. Here's the rest of the photos that I just took today, now that it arrived. Keep in mind, this is after some intense cleaning, scrubbing, vacuuming and laundering!
The plan is to remove the ice-box and extend the opening to allow for an Engel or ARB fridge to fit, that way I can use the same fridge in my Jeep if I'm not taking the Scamp.
Repair the floor under the dinette.
Remove the 110v fluorescent light and replace with 12v LED throughout.
Swap out ALL bulbs for LED (including running lights)
Hopefully add a greywater tank and probably replace the freshwater tank and the faucet with a pressurized "on-demand" system.
Run a quick-disconnect LP line to the Right-Rear exterior so I can use a cooktop outside.
Add a 2nd Deep Cycle battery and install solar on the roof for charging.
Add an inverter to allow limited 110v capabilities
Add A/C - probably have to go with a window-unit in the closet next to the door, as this model didn't come with the required roof supports to handle the weight on top.
I'm sure this list will do nothing but grow as I get into it!
