Jeep has unveiled its new Cherokee models (not the Grand Cherokee) and in one configuration it is flat-towable. That's when equipped with the 4WD variant called Active Drive II. Other Active Drive variants are not towable, but may be better suited to better fuel economy (Active Drive I) or trail riding (Active Drive Lock). Active Drive Lock even includes a locking rear differential!
It's also available in plain old 2WD, but offroad fans will be happy to hear that the Cherokee Trailhawk version earns Jeep's "trail-rated" logo.
