Now we have a pleasant surprise. Guess who is staying just down the road from our RV park in Conroe? You would never guess so I am going to tell you. After we arrived back at the RV park, Sunset Shores we met up with Barb And Frank for a Mexican Food dinner at one of the local restaurants around the lake.

Today we headed for Sam Houston National Park and was met at the gate by a park ranger stating that the park was closed. So we drove over to Brenham for ice cream at the Blue Bell Creamery. Made the rounds over to the old Baylor Women college in Independence, Texas. We couldn't figure out who's jeep was who"s so we will leave that up to Kim.

Glad to see Frank and Barb got out of Michigan before the snow starts flying!

Henry takes you to the nicest places. We went to the prison museum today. (lol) If was a very interesting place. Very well laid out.

We had another great day with perfect weather.

Ardra, we left the 23rd of Sept, and headed for FLA to visit friends. Had to leave a day early cause of the TS Karen.

All is good.

Yesterday we are off visiting sites around East Texas. Stopped in Coldsprings at Double Lake NP. There on to our favorite cemetery.

After lunch we headed to Huntsville where Frank found himself in a little trouble, I told him "Don't mess with Texas" They have a hot seat for him and this happens to be the original Electric chair used in the Texas Prison at Huntsville.  The pistols in the picture were taken from prisoners and are made of wood.

Barb & Frank are off to Spring Branch, Texas this morning. We all had fried halibut dinner yesterday evening and said our goodbye's. Had a great week with framily. Barb,I loved that Cherry Pie!!

Margaret and Henry made us feel so welcomed. They toured us around and showed us all their favorites sites. We had a great time.

And to top it all off the cooked Halibut an Chips for dinner last night. OMG was it good.

God Bless Framlly, and God Bless America.

We will miss you guys.

Henry and Margaret are really gracious hosts.  We had a great time with all the sightseeing and of course, the FOOD.  Henry was even so kind as to cook and share some of his Alaskan Halibut with us last night, mmm-good.
Thanks again Margaret and Henry for an enjoyable time and see you at Catalina.
Frank

Don't laugh, go on 1960 west of I 45 and there is a sign aways down the road for the funeral museum.  we went one day, I thought it was actually pretty neat.  Sue Anne still laughs about it.
