Question to forum techies and any others with a possible answer.
Using the URL/hyperlink tool above appears to me now as changing in implementation depending...
If I now use IE 11.0 (recently upgraded to W8.1) when I highlight a word and select it with the tool, it simply places http://www.rvforum.net/SMF_forum/index.php?action=post;board=5.0 on the page.
If I use Firefox, the same action opens the dialogue box to insert hyperlink content resulting in this.
Since IE previously functioned the same as Firefox. What have I changed/screwed up with updating to IE. Is it something I can change in my IE interface or is there a missing forum option (missing in that I haven't found it).
Note also that emoticons don't render as graphic in IE anymore either .
Note also that if I toggle view I get "your browser does not support rich text editing". Is there a fix for this. (I believe this is the problem).
