Still unemployed for almost a year.  It seems nobody wants to hire an old man.  However the DW got a bonus so we decided to go somewhere.  Since my DW is a gambler we decided to the casinos in Tunica with a 2 day stop over in Tupelo.  Well at this time of year we always check the weather reports and a luck would have it, it looked a week in
the north with sleet, freezing rain, snow, and lows in the 20's at night.  NO WAY JOSE.  So we did a 180 degree turnaround and instead we headed for Bay ST Louis MS.  We are now settled in comfortably in the RV park next to the Hollywood Casino and will be here thru Thanksgiving.    This what I love about RV'ing, you can make totally instant change decisions and will not be inconvenienced to badly.  Of course,we did have some heavy rain and wind and for the first time we had wind strong enough to rock the rig.    But at least it was not snow.

Having been both places, I think you made the right choice. There is more o see and do in Bay St Louise/Boloxie area other than gamble. We have stopped there several times on the way to and from FL.

Oh I don't know about that.  My wife is the gambler, not me.  For myself I was planning on doing a little site seeing in Memphis.  However you can't see many sites if you are muckluking thru  snow and/or driving rain.  Of course we have been here since Monday and all it has done is rain.
