I grew up in the Detroit area and wonder about the famous Indy 500 front-wheel-drive Novi specials that were built in Novi and raced in the Indy 500 race. One is currently in the Museum at the Indy 500 race track and the other one was in an abandoned building, probably where they were built, along the main street through Novi. We used to stop by and look in the garage window to see it whenever we were in Novi. At the Indy 500 it was driven by Duke Nalon.
