I have seem some great toy hauler based on a semi. I also came across a real cool looking Class A (Newmar) with two rear slidouts and loading ramps so you can drive the bike on to the slide out then "park it" by retracting the slide.
I am NOT a truck driver, so the class 8 conversions scare me a little. I also have heard that some campsites will allow class As but don't allow "anything with a hood". On the class A side, I guess Newmar has dropped the toy hauler I saw- I'm guessing because they didn't sell well. No big deal, because I found a Real nice one used. (42 ft). I have seen a few of the semi conversions, but the ones I have seen are shorter and not what I want to full time in.
I would like your comments- both ways
