Can any one tell me what the road cond.are like from Red Bluff to Susanville Ca.?  I'm a little underpowered and am needing info on grades.Thanks.
 
Sections of the road are steep, winding, and narrow.  You have to cross over the center line in some sections to make some of the turns.  We took it westbound this spring.  Dan is used to driving this kind of road and did OK with our 40' 5W and diesel F350, but he said he would'nt do it again.  The couple traveling with us in a 40' 5W and F550 did have problems going up some of the grades. As I rcall, their transmission was slipping.
