Double Bed Size help

Can anyone out there with a C191 Trail Cruiser confirm that the rear (double) bed size is 48x81?  We are comsidering this model, but from the pics the rear bed looks small.  We are actually considering a 2004 model.  Anything specific I should inspect for when considering a used Trail Cruiser?
