This is what they cause:
I removed the carpet and found that due to coach sitting before the current owner purchased it, the seals were bad and leaking.
I used my Fein saw to cut to some undamaged wood. There are 2 layers of OSB and in those layers is sandwiched a vapor barrio.
The black you see is the actual bottom of the membrane used to keep water from the bottom of the floor. I will be applying a anti rot
material and then adding new plywood with some epoxy and bring the new material up to the original level of the floor. This is an extensive
remodel. I'll post progress photos and the results later so that if you have an issue as this, there is a remedy.
