Towing a Ford Contour

I have heard that you can damage your transmission and etc. by towing without proper setup? I have also heard that some cars (i.e. CRV) can be towed without issues. Do I need to do anything to my Ford Contour (4cyl 2000cc) to protect it?

I suggest you call Remco, the towing experts, to figure out if your Contour or any other specific vehicle can be safely towed all four down.

Many 4x4 vehicles can be safely towed by putting the transfer cae in neutral.
