I have a few questions about my motorhome it is a concord made by dodge with a Mopar motor in it. I was wondering how to tell what cubic inch it is. Also what it has for a transmission? Its a Model R40 vin R49CA3S206816 TON T9601340 Its rated for 12000 GVW. Any help would be appreciated im thinking of pulling the motor and tranny as of now the motorhome is used as a hunting camp.

I would guess it's either a 413 or a 440 big block. As far as the transmission goes it is a Torqueflite 727.

Could be a 360.  My old mid 70's class C had a 360.  I don't remember the model, but it was about an 18-20 footer.

What year? If the distributor is at the back of the manifold it is a small block, likely a 360. If at the front a big block.

I think it is a 318 maybe a 383.  Don't think the 440 was put into MHs until 1974.  The 360 was an oddball and was used primarily in the (now) Class C units.  JM2?...

My 71 had a "413"  it was a 25 foot with the rear dinette bed combo. Make sure you  have plenty of ballast resistors on hand. Went thru 4 of them on a 7000 mile vacation. Still was great fun trip in 1979. Changed the exhaust to headers with dual exhaust purred real nice.
