We are new to this whole RV lifestyle. How has everyone gone about finding these neat workamping jobs?

There is an online site, workampers.com, that lists jobs. Also. volunteer.gov for positions with government agencies. Workampers costs about $15 a year, I think.

One of the best volunteer positions I have had, I asked them if they had any volunteer positions there. If you see a place you would like to stay at for a while, find the person in charge and ask. All they can do is say no. They can't eat you.

There are a ton of jobs out there - I belong to Workamper and have been very pleased with their service - I also frequent CoolWorks.com

They have a section for RV people....

Good Luck,

Jim

I agree with all above. I'm on my first workamping job and liking it. I found it by visiting the center and asking.  Then afterwards, I think it's a matter of networking, just like in the usual job market.  I have some possibilities already when my gig here is up at the end of July.   I may amend this response later, but it seems to be this way.  However, I have heard numerous times that with the boomers getting into it, some places are getting picky about whom they choose.  I'm trying to make a good reference to call on later.
