1983 Pace Arrow no start

Tried to start my 83 Pace Arrow today, cranks over easy no go, last ran about 3 weeks ago P30 chassis with Chevy 454 carbureted engine. Any tips would be appreciated. Does this setup have an electric fuel pump?  I cranked up the generator ran fine fuel gauge shows half tank.
 
Pull the breather and see if any fuel is in the carb while cranking. Be careful not to get right over the carb in case of a backfire.
 
FYI. Problem found, previous owner had removed the fuel filter which is located in the carb fuel inlet. Without the filter trash had blocked the float needle valve not allowing fuel into the carb bowl. A relatively easy fix, a carb overhaul kit for $30 and a new accelerator pump for $10, plus a new air filter and we are ready for the road.
