We will be staying at Emerald Cove Rv Resort in Earl, CA with the family and friends. This will be a weekend full of swimming, kayaking, fishing, biking and just having tons of fun.

Where are you spending Memorial Day Weekend?

Home. We're not fond of RVing on holiday weekends. Maybe we'll have a yard sale.

On friends' farm outside Boscobel, WI, before heading to the SE MN rally on Monday.

X2

We're finally getting decent weather....ie no wind, but not a fan of campgrounds packed full of idiots drinking and yucking it up until the wee hours.  No thanks.  The week AFTER a big holiday is the best time to go camping.

In NE Kansas on the deck. There is no better place in late May and early June then at home. In a few weeks, the go to places will be north of here, and I'm planning for that.

We're going tomorrow for a  three day campout here in NH. The worst thing we'll probably run into is black flies. They're terrible right now.

We're thinking about a weekend afloat at a nearby anchorage for the water equivalent of a rally with a number of friends. This will be a 'first time' for the dogs, and we're not sure how they'll do. OTOH they're both very comfortable hopping into the paddle boat when Chris paddles around our bay. Today I washed the old tub, and Chris cleaned the bridge. Both doggies hopped aboard (one reluctantly), followed Chris up the stairs, and made themselves comfortable. What they haven't yet been exposed to is hopping in the dinghy to make a 'shore run' to take care of business.

Meanwhile, our recent 5200 miles road trip was a first for the doggies. They were unsettled the first couple of days, but they eventually settled down after figuring out that we'd stop periodically to let them out (on leashes).

Spending the weekend at our private campsite.  Takes a couple days mowing, trimming, collecting dead limbs and such.  Now it's time to kick back and enjoy it with family.  Cooking  breakfast over the campfire.  Later, down a few beers  around the fire while listening to the water running over the rocks in the stream.

Private one space campground on the west side in Santa Cruz, California.

Andersonville National Historic Site. Finishing our 2 month volunteer experience by helping the Rangers with Memorial Day activities and placing flags next to each tombstone.
