Hello,

I had a customer call me (Illinois) today from Holland, they plan on purchasing a travel trailer this summer and keep it in the U.S., as they come over twice a year. My question is: How would they license it or pay sales tax?

Thanks,

Mark

Just like everyone else. First they pick a state, then set up a domicile there and pay the license and sales tax fees.

We have quite a few members with mailing addresses in SD so I'm sure some will be along shortly to answer your questions.
