Another good uke concert
« on: May 22, 2014, 12:48:16 AM »
32 Delta Strummers performed today for residents of an assisted-living facility. The band did another great job, and the audience were engaged throughout.

Last night's practice was interesting (for me); I'd been playing banjo for the last few days, and caught myself playing banjo chords on the uke  :-[ Fortunately, my brain was straightened in time out for today's performance.

Lots of great comments/critique from residents and staff of the facility, in addition to a number of guests (mostly relatives of residents).

Tom, to keep the the critics away, just introduce yourself by shouting:  "I am Tom Jones from Wales" and you will be an instant success.

Happy you are happy in your good service.

LOL Carson, I can tell you a few stories about "using the name"  ;D

Back to plonking on the banjo until my sprain heals and I can get back to the guitar.
