For all those who are frustrated with the number of tire failures, there is a place where you can go and report these failures that can do some good for all of us.
The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) has a web site just for reporting failures of any nature concerning vehicles.
The web site is:

The more complaints they receive about a specific class of produce (ST Tires for instance) the sooner they will launch a "Campaign" to look into the validity and cause of the failures.
Instead of just talking about the problem do some good.

Irreguardless of why you think the tires failed report the failures.? NHTSA is a Federal Government body.? Their employees are paid with your and my tax dollars.? Lets give them something to do that is near and dear to our hearts.
