Swing out brackets
« on: June 20, 2014, 01:20:55 AM »
Hi all,

Due to the wife not enjoying tent camping I had to venture into the world of campers.  I basically bought an old C30 already converted to haul anything (drw conversion, brake controller, etc).  I personally would rather do truck camper but decided we'd get an old one in good shape to try for a couple of years before spending a lot of money on a newer one.

The TC I picked up is a 1971 Security Industries out of Idaho.  The brackets on it don't appear stock.  Could someone tell me if there are different bolting patterns between manufacturers?  I ask because I need to pick up swing out brackets.  My brother and I managed to load it by taking off the front jacks and rolling the camper on rebarb but it's been 9 months and I have a couple of home improvement projects waiting for me to get the bed back.  Also any recommendation on the brand of swing out?  Which is best in terms of sturdiness or clearance for the fenders?

Appreciate any help, thanks.
