Have been using the heat pump for the last couple of weeks and have found flakes on the floor that look like pieces of brown leaves. The flakes are usually about 1/3 the size of a dime and very thin. Today we're back in AC country and we saw some more flakes. Obviously they're coming from the AC/heat pump ducts or the unit itself. Anybody have an idea of what they can be?
Thanks

Bruce,

Do you have a Newmar??  If you do, the ducts are painted brown.  If you don't maybe the ducts are painted brown.  I have paint peeling in a few places and what you describe looks like what I found.

No, it's an Alpenlite fifth wheel. Not sure if the ducts are painted but that could be it if so. I'll have to call the factory to find out.
