The interior lights in my 1994 Allegro Bay started flickering, dimming and coming back to full strength periodically. Other appliances did not seem to be affected. I knew the inverter, located in the center bay, was almost new. I discovered that a metal awning rod was lying against the inverter. I removed the metal rod, and the problem was solved. So . . . first step to solving 12-volt problems should probably be to ensure that the area around the inverter is clear.
