I've replaced the monitor with an LCD, soldered a new twist lock connector on the ends of the cable, and it helped.  But the stupid thing still glitches out at the worst times!  It goes blank, flutters, displays a solid blue screen which I refer to as the blue screen of death, I.e. BSOD.  Usually powering it off and back on fixes it for a while.

Ok, enough is enough!  I have been to www.rvcams.com and talked to them on the phone.  They strongly suggest that the best way to deal with this nagging problem is to replace the entire cable.

My monitor is over the driver so I assume I'll have to go down the A pillar, through the firewall, down the frame, and somehow up the rear cap to where the camera is.

Anybody done this?  Any advice?

Thanks,
Russ

Did you ever think about going wireless?  There has been some discussions in the last 8 months about wireless and they've given good reports.
